MISSION STATEMENT

The Austin Peay BCM exists to ENGAGE students on this campus with the gospel of Jesus Christ, to DISCIPLE and INVEST in students to be leaders who make an impact for God’s Kingdom, to GROW together in friendship as believers in Christ, and to MOBILIZE students in fulfilling the Great Commission.

 

 

ENGAGE: We engage and connect with students in a variety of ways on campus. Our campus outreach team regularly organizes projects on campus to hand out pop-tarts, water, hot chocolate, and snow cones on campus. This allows us to meet new students weekly and help them to know how to get connected with Bible studies and other BCM events.

 

DISCIPLE & INVEST: We desire to see students reach their full potential for Christ. Students have the opportunity to be involved in small group Bible study, large group worship, and other discipleship oriented events to help them in their walk with Christ. We equip students to become missionaries and leaders on their on campus to invest in others.

 

GROW: Christian community is important for college students. We hope through the BCM ministry, students can experience authentic Christ community and establish life-long friendships to continue to help them in their walk with Christ.

 

MOBILIZE: College students have the ability to not just impact their campus for Christ, but to impact the world as well. We want to mobilize students to be on mission for Christ and use the skills and talents that God has given them to share the gospel around the world.
