BCM STAFF & LEADERSHIP
Heather Franks - DIRECTOR
Heather began serving as the BCM Director at APSU Baptist Collegiate Ministry in 2025. She is a graduate of Austin Peay State University and holds a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Heather has served on multiple short-term mission trips to New York, Alaska, and Africa, among other locations. After graduating from college, she spent five years serving as a Campus Missionary with Austin Peay BCM, where her passion for ministering to college students deepened. Heather believes the university campus is one of the most strategic mission fields and is committed to equipping students to reach every corner of campus with the gospel. Alexis Belfor - CAMPUS MISSIONARY
Alexis graduated from Tennessee Tech University and is now serving in her first year as a Campus Missionary. During her time at Tech, she played an active role in BCM by leading small group Bible studies, contributing to the Missions Team, and sharing the gospel with her peers on campus. Alexis has participated in short-term and summer mission trips, serving in the Philippines and Eastern Europe.
Morgan McCraw - CAMPUS MISSIONARY
Morgan is a graduate of Austin Peay State University and is currently serving her first year as a Campus Missionary. As a student, she was deeply involved in BCM, connecting with students across campus, leading the Discipleship Team, and investing in younger students through mentorship. Morgan has served on both short-term and summer mission trips, with opportunities in New York City, Southeast Asia, and the Philippines.
Leadership Team 2026-2027
Our BCM leadership team is guided by our BCM staff and is created to lead the ministry. Our leadership positions range from campus outreach, BCM fellowship, missions, worship, and more. Our leadership team also helps disciple others through our small group Bible studies known as Family Groups. These allow students to grow and mature as believers and followers of Christ while also growing together in friendship. We intentionally pray, train, and encourage one another in being Christ-led disciples.
