We do a lot throughout the week and wanted to highlight a few of our favorite things!
Every Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. local churches provide a home cooked meal for just $2. The money goes to missions and you can enjoy a great meal and time with friends. Students, staff, and faculty are welcome to attend!
Refuge is our largest BCM group event and happens every Thursday night at 7 p.m. You can come for a large group time of worship and Bible study and have the chance to connect with other students. We have a student worship band and many times have guest speakers from local churches as well as student testimonies.
Our pop-tart ministry is just one of several BCM campus outreach activities. Tuesday mornings from 8-9:30 a.m. students can receive free pop-tarts outside on the library sidewalk. This is a great opportunity to connect with students and brighten someone’s day with a free breakfast! Please just let us know if you are interested in helping with this or any other campus outreach project!
The BCM is involved in every campus intramural sport including flag football, soccer, basketball, volleyball, dodge ball, and softball. It’s a chance to have fun playing sports and be a reflection of Christ on the field or on the court. You can sign up to play or sport or simply come and cheer on a team!
The men’s ministry of the BCM is a time just for guys to get together for fellowship and growth in Christ. About once a month there are other activities planned just for the guys throughout the semester such as camping trips, sports events, movie nights, and just getting together for meals.
The women’s ministry of the BCM is a time for girls to get together fellowship, accountability, Bible study, and just to encourage each other in their walk with Christ. There is a monthly Saturday brunch and Bible study time, and there are special events just for girls planned throughout the semester such as secret sisters, Pinterest nights, service projects, and a girls retreat in the winter.
